

Rob went on to found Additive Workshop from his basement in 2005. While pursuing his sculpture degree at Portland State, Troy befriended Rob Arps.

Vice President of Form (Form 3d Foundry LLC. His primary program is ZBRUSH, it is a true "work horse" and is forgiving for traditional artists who are transitioning to digital. He’s beta tested and worked with some of the most advanced virtual reality and sculpting programs to date. His work has also been featured in movies/entertainment, pop art, decorative hardware, theme parks, and interactive games. He’s shown in galleries, created public works and developed anatomical learning tools. His career has spanned many disciplines and techniques. He currently works for and gives classes in anatomy, animals, drapery, and portraiture, and lectures on anatomy and sculpture internationally. He also studied and apprenticed with sculptor Martine Vaugel, and painter and sculptor Dennis Anderson. He began his education using traditional methods, studying hand-drawn animation at CalArts, architecture at Rhode Island School of Design, sculpture, mold making, and casting at Otis Parsons School of Design. Steve Lord has been a professional artist for over 30 years.
